I am a mother of a six-month-old child. My son is a very lively baby and although he can barely crawl at this stage, I get an impression that he is getting much better every day. Yesterday I caught him crawling up the stairs! Last week I got an interesting invitation. A new company that sells baby stuff organised art workshops for children. At first I thought that my son was too young to participate but when I called the company office, it turned out that the workshops were actually aimed at children his age. It was possible to participate in music and art classes and win some cheap cots beds and organic toys. I put my son on the list. The workshop took place yesterday. I must say it was really interesting. Of course the company wanted to promote themselves so they were trying to encourage all participants to buy their products. But they were not pushy at all, they just wanted everyone to remember their brand name and have nice associations. My son was listening to music with other kids and some older children were dancing. There were also painting classes for children. It was more like experimenting with colours and textures than real art. We were given two wonderful baby bedding sets and some organic toys.
